Arbella Promotes Two Charlestown Residents

The Arbella Insurance Group is pleased to announce the promotions of two members of its executive team: Charlestown residents Eileen Currie and Beverly Tangvik. Both Currie and Tangvik have played key roles in developing Arbella’s strong presence throughout New England. Each will continue to report directly to John F. Donohue, chairman, president and CEO of the Arbella Insurance Group.

Eileen Currie has been promoted to senior vice president of Commercial Lines. Eileen will continue to manage all Commercial Lines activities at Arbella. In her six years as the head of Commercial Lines, Eileen has achieved strong profits in Arbella’s core lines of business. She has led significant growth and expansion of Arbella’s Commercial Lines footprint in Connecticut and New Hampshire, positioning Arbella as a major player across southern New England.

Beverly Tangvik has been promoted to president of the Arbella Insurance Charitable Foundation. For the past 10 years, Beverly has developed the vision of Arbella’s Charitable Foundation, and has significantly increased Arbella’s employee volunteerism and engagement. Beverly is committed to growing charitable programs in partnership with Arbella’s independent agents, and has successfully positioned Arbella’s Foundation as a respected leader in the philanthropic community in New England.
