Boston to Hold Mass of Remembrance for Balcony Collapse Victims

The Archdiocese of Boston has planned a Mass of Remembrance Monday evening for the Irish students killed in a balcony collapsed during a party last week in Berkley, California.

The special service will start at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross. Social workers will be on hand to comfort those in need during a reception following the Mass.

The Irish International Immigrant Center and the Irish Pastoral Centre sponsor Boston remembrances.

Six people, including four Irish students, were killed during the collapse.

A book of condolence will be available to sign before the Mass begins.
