Boston Police Seek Indecent Assault Suspect

Officials say a female victim reported the assault on Monday morning round 8:30 a.m.


The Boston Police Department is turning to the public in an effort to locate an individual wanted in connection to an indecent assault in East Boston.

Officials say a female victim reported the assault on Monday morning round 8:30 a.m. in the area of Greenway Street and Summer Street.

According to the victim, the suspect approached her from behind, assaulted her and then fled the area on foot.

The suspect was able to successfully describe the suspect to police. Officials say the suspect is a Hispanic male believed to be in his early 20s, approximately five-foot-eight, a thin build and clean cut with short dark hair. The suspect was wearing a gray t-shirt, black running pants and black shoes when the incident took place.
