Boston Transportation Dept. Commissioner Heading to Charlestown for 'Chief Chats'

Boston’s “Chief Chat” series will be arriving in Charlestown in just over a week’s time.

The event will be held aboard the City Hall To Go truck on Wednesday, Aug. 6 from 4-7 p.m. in Thompson Square.

James Gillooly, Interim Commissioner of the Boston Transportation Department, will be on hand to meet with local residents.

The City Hall to Go truck offers a select menu of city services directly to residents, who can pay or dispute parking tickets, request birth or death certificates, obtain a dog license, request a parking permit or pay property and excise taxes.
