Boston's Ex-Police Commissioner Joins LoJack Board of Directors

Ed Davis served as the city's police boss from 2006 to 2013.

Ed Davis, Boston’s former police commissioner, is set to start a new chapter in his career.

The 35-year veteran of law enforcement will be joining the board of directors of LoJack Corp.

LoJack specializes in designing technology that tracks stolen vehicles. Davis was a prime candidate for the job given his background.

Davis had been Boston’s police commissioner from 2006 to 2013. He stepped down in the fall of 2013 following the Boston Marathon bombings.
