Connecting to NorthPoint Cambridge
The North Bank Bridge will connect East Cambridge's North Point Park to Charlestown's Revere Park for pedestrians and cyclists. This bridge is an important connection for the neighborhoods of Boston.
North Bank Bridge to Open SOON!
We are excited for the newest connection from the NorthPoint neighborhood to Charlestown! The cool bridge you've seen constructed over the commuter rail lines from Revere Park, is called the North Bank Bridge. The construction looks to be near completion and the bridge should be opening soon. Look for news of the bridge opening ceremony here!
The North Bank Bridge will connect Mass DCR's 8.5 acre North Point Park (and the East Cambridge NorthPoint neighborhood) to Charlestown's Paul Revere Park for pedestrians and cyclists. This bridge is an important continuation of the Charles River paths, connecting many neighborhoods of Boston.

If you haven't been to North Point Park yet, make sure you check it out! The park is beautifully designed with large areas for sports, smaller areas to picnic or relax in the sun, a dock, fountains, and a very fun children's playground all on the quiet banks of the Charles River.

A great opportunity to visit the park or spend more time and meet your neighbors will be happening at the end of July. Come out for REI's Summer Camping Festival on July 28th from 10am - 4pm. The event will have something for everyone in the family!
