MissionSafe 'Swing Into Action' Charity Golf Tournament Returns
MissionSAFE hosts charity golf tournament to benefit youth development programming.
On Monday, May 20, MissionSAFE hosted its "Swing Into Action" Charity Golf Tournament at TPC Boston, in Norton.
The event, previously hosted in 2008 and 2009, gathered 112 golfers who supported our programs, through a day of golf followed by an exciting banquet and live auction with auctioneer Thomas O'Neill III. The winning foursome was a team from S.& F. Concrete Contractors, captained by Rodney Frias. The event also featured a surprise visit from co-founder Sister Anne Carrabino S.S.S., who relocated to California to receive a bone marrow transplant.
TPC Boston is a world class venue, which hosts the Deutsche Bank Championship annually. This event draws the world’s greatest golfers and is part of the Fedex Cup Playoffs, which pays $10 million to the champion. This setting, combined with a warm, sunsplashed spring day, created the perfect atmosphere for the participants.
