Did you see the new stop sign on the Boston side of 1st Ave at the corner of 8th Street? There will be more stop signs going up in the yard.
It’s been a relatively quiet month but a bright one…have you noticed the lights on at Spaulding Rehab “it’s spectacular” said a friend of mine who came over to the Yard from the Back Bay for dinner. The new Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital is ready and they been conducting mock moves to better prepare everyone for the actual move date of 4/27/13.

I am hoping to have our 3 legged golden retriever, Bear, trained as a therapy dog. For those of you that know Bear he is Chill and would be a welcome visitor at Spaulding. If anyone else is interested in therapy training perhaps we could have a session hosted in the Yard. Current training options are located in Arlington or Weymouth. Awesome blog material… “Bear visits The New Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and brightens the lives of many on the road to recovery”.
Did you participate in the Boston Shines city wide clean up day in the past or would you like to get involved this year also scheduled for Saturday 4/27. Last year the group helping out in the Yard met at the Y. If interested please let me know as we are looking for volunteers.

Heading to Big Sky in Montana to enjoy the end of ski season any suggestions while we are there? One of our neighbors Rosiland Angoff is a wine expert. Roz will be sharing her expertise as a wine educator/ambassador at a wine tasting to be held on May 1st at the Y/Constitution Inn from 7-9pm. The event is thru the neighborhood association go to FCNY for tickets…but hurry I would anticipate this event will sell out quickly.
