Woof! Dog Returns Home - Owner Thankful to Residents of Charlestown

Around 8:00pm last night, my dad took my two dogs on a walk in the Navy Yard. One of my dogs, Koto, a little 10lb Maltese-Rat Terrier mix, managed to wiggle out of her harness and ran out of the Navy Yard gate. My family, neighbors, and friends sprung into action and began combing the streets to no avail. They put up posters and called out her name down every echoing road. 

I waited for her at home, hoping she would find her way back. Around midnight, she came prancing up to our stoop, smiling from pointed ear to pointed ear, exhausted from her solo adventure around our beautiful town. 

I want to thank everyone, from Walford Way to Main Street, from Courageous Sailing Center to the Scraffts, who took the time to help look for my pup. I am so grateful and proud to live in a place where so many people would be so concerned and helpful. Again, for those who offered aid, prayers, and good luck - thank you!
