BRA Approves Rutherford Landing Project in Charlestown

The project will include 15 new residences and 26 parking spaces.

The proposed Rutherford Landing project is moving forward in Charlestown.

The Boston Redevelopment Authority approved the development of the project at its meeting on July 10.

The project calls for Rutherford Landing to replace a “dilapidated, three-story building with a four-story residential building” at 463 Rutherford Ave. in Charlestown, according to the BRA. The effort will bring about 15 residential units, with two of them being deemed “affordable,” as well as 26 parking spaces to be created onsite and a common roof deck for all residents, the BRA said.
