British Airways Flight Diverted to Boston After Man Allegedly Assaults Wife

A British Airways flight traveling from London to Houston was forced to make a landing at Boston’s Logan International Airport after an alleged in-air assault took place.

Massachusetts State Police responded to the scene after learning of the forced landing caused by an unruly passenger.

Multiple passengers onboard the flight were forced to restrain the man after he allegedly assaulted his wife.

The flight landed safely in Boston around noon time on Wednesday.

A British Airwaves representative spoke about the incident and said “this sort of behavior will not be tolerated.”

The passenger is in police custody. No further details have been made available at this time.
