Carolers, Musicians Perform for Spaulding Patients

The Boston Pops and Boston Red Sox players also made an appearance.

Two Charlestown groups donated their time and talents this holiday season to brighten the spirits for the patients and staff at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.

A group of carolers from St. Mary - St. Catherine of Siena Parish Choir toured the halls of the hospital and the MGH Institute of Health Professions student group “IHP Musicians” performed an afternoon concert.

The hospital also welcomed back a holiday performance by Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops. Boston’s pro sports teams got into the act as well with the Boston Red Sox Holiday Caravan visiting patients with players Garin Cecchini, Heath Hembree and Steven Wright. The Boston Bruins also made their tenth annual holiday toy donation to Spaulding’s Pediatric Unit as part of their annual toy drive to hospitals around the city.
