Celebrate Friendsgiving at Pier 6
Charlestown's Pier 6 Restaurant Hosts Friendsgiving in Honor of the Biggest Reunion Night of the Year
In honor of the yearly tradition of rubbing elbows with old friends and potentially reconnecting with lost flames, Pier 6, Charlestown’s premier waterfront dining destination is playing host to the ultimate Friendsgiving on Thanksgiving-Eve, November 25th, 2015. Guests can enjoy such highlighted dishes as Grilled Half Chicken with Rosemary potatoes, kale and black trumpet cream sauce ($24) or the Pumpkin Risotto with heirloom pumpkin, butternut squash, sage, and parmesan ($19). Executive Chef Adriano Silva has also created a Friendsgiving Cassoulet with stewed Great Northern white beans, braised lamb shank, smoked bacon slab, and turkey confit ($23) in honor of the evening’s festivities. Pair this early evening celebration with Pier 6’s signature cocktails. Mend fences with The Neighborhood Bully including DownEast cider, Bully Boy Hub Punch rum, lemon juice and angostura bitters ($12); or confess those secret feelings with the Raspberry Bee’s Knees with Wireworks gin, fresh raspberries and honey simple ($12). As always, Pier 6 features a carefully curated wine list to choose glass or bottle selections from, as well as a diverse beer list of both draught and bottled options.
