Charlestown Businesses Land 'Best of Boston' Awards

Boston magazine’s annual “Best of Boston” issue hit newsstands this week, marking the 42nd anniversary of the awards.

Over the course of this past year, a team of judges ate, drank and shopped their way all over the city in an effort to seek out the premiere businesses scattered throughout the many neighborhoods in the area.

The magazine presented several businesses in Charlestown with awards in the “Neighborhood Best” and “Weddings” categories.

Here’s a look at the winners:

• Neighborhood Bests/Eat: Navy Yard Bistro
• Neighborhood Bests/Drink: Brewer’s Fork
• Neighborhood Bests/Shop: Bunker Hill Florist
• Neighborhood Bests/Discover: The Spaulding Rehab Center Playground’s Thomas M. Menino Park
• Weddings/Stationary: Smudge Ink

Awards were handed out in categories including dining, shopping, service, arts & entertainment, nightlife and more.

283 awards in total were presented to establishments across the city.
