Charlestown Man Charged With OUI After Crashing Into Police Cruiser
Two Maine police officers suffered injuries as a result of the crash.

A Charlestown man was injured early Saturday morning following a crash involving two police officers in Wells, Maine.
State police informed Wells police of a vehicle operating in an erratic fashion around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, officials say. Wells police sent a cruiser to the area.
The vehicle was observed crossing several lanes of traffic before it crossed the median and collided with the police cruiser, officials say. As a result of the collision, the police cruiser flipped up and landed on its roof.

Anthony Menici, 33, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence, driving to endanger and possession of Suboxone, officials say.
The two officers suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene. The driver was transported to the hospital for treatment.
