Charlestown Teens Beat Woman, Stole Phone
The woman and her 8-year-old daughter fled to a nearby police station.

A 14-year-old girl and 13-year-old boy, both from Charlestown, are accused of viciously beating and robbing a mother after she asked them to stop using foul language in front of her young daughter.
The Boston Herald reported that Boston Police charged the teens with armed robbery and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.
According to a police report, the woman was walking with her 8-year-old daughter in the area of Lowney and Bunker Hill streets just after 5 p.m. Wednesday when she overheard three youths using foul language and asked them to stop. The girl and boy attacked her and stole her phone in response.
