Charlestown's Weather Forecast: Late Afternoon Thunderstorms Tuesday

Tuesday will get off to a nice start with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the 70s, but scattered thunderstorms could move into the region during the late afternoon hours.

The threat for scattered storms will be at its greatest between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., according the latest weather.com forecast. The chance for precipitation will be at 55 percent.

Storms are expected to completely vacate the area around 7 p.m. Skies will turn mostly cloudy during the overnight hours.

Temperatures will reach an afternoon high in the upper 70s. Temperatures will dip down into the low 70s overnight.

As of now, Wednesday appears as if it could be a stormy day as well. The forecast is calling for scattered thunderstorms starting in the morning hours and lasting well into the evening.
