Charlestown's Weather Forecast: A Gorgeous Summer Weekend

Heavy rain storms moved through the area during the early-morning hours, but skies will clear Friday afternoon, making way for a splendid summer weekend. Forecasters are calling for a strong dose of sun and warmth.

Temperatures will climb into the upper 70s Friday afternoon after overhead clouds dissipate. Conditions will continue to warm up throughout the weekend as sunny skies will push temperatures near 90 degrees.

On Saturday, highs will hit the upper 80s. They’ll dip down into the 60s overnight. Expect mostly sunny skies with calm winds.

Sunday will be a near carbon copy of Saturday. Temperatures will reach the low 90s. Lows will be in the 60s. Skies will be mostly sunny and winds will be calm.

Showers and thunderstorms could move in for Monday and Tuesday.
