Clinic Teaches Wheelchair Basketball to the Disabled
Paralyzed veterans lead competitive game Feb. 12

Teens and adults with disabilities will have a chance to learn new athletic skills and play basketball Saturday during a fundraising event to benefit the Spaulding Adaptive Sports Programs hosted by the Charlestown YMCA.
The purpose of this clinic is to teach individuals with disabilities the game of wheelchair basketball through mobility skills, shooting techniques, and game strategies.

Anyone with a physical disability is invited to learn the game of adaptive basketball. Following the clinic, the New England Paralyzed Veterans of America Celtics basketball team will play a high-intensity game.

- Adaptive basketball clinic: 10 a.m. to noon
