The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) will announce the delivery of the first of six new emergency oil spill response trailers to the City of Boston.

WHAT: The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) will announce the delivery of the first of six new emergency oil spill response trailers to the City of Boston to increase the protection of Boston Harbor and the city’s waterfront.
WHO: MassDEP Commissioner Kenneth Kimmell, Boston Environmental and Energy Services Chief Brian Swett, Boston Fire Commissioner Roderick Fraser, U.S. Coast Guard Captain, Boston Sector Commander, John O’Connor III, Staff members from state legislators’ offices, Representatives from the Boston City Council

WHERE: Charlestown Navy Yard Pier 4, off Flagship Avenue (near Flagship Wharf and the Courageous Sailing Center).

RAIN LOCATION: In the event of rain, the event will be held under the canopy of the Courageous Sailing Center, a short distance up Pier 4 from the “roundabout house.”
