Ms. Jenn Houle, the art teacher at the Warren-Prescott School is teaching a week long art class for children entering into grades 1-4. There are a few spots left in this section, class dates are August 22-26. The half day art class will be held at the Stove Factory Gallery, 523 Medford St. Charlestown, and will run Monday August 22 through Friday August 26 from 9:00am-12:00noon. Class costs $135 per student, is limited to 8 students and materials are provided.
Class will meet at the Museum of Fine Arts on August 23rd to sketch from the collection and to provide inspiration for the projects created during this week. Classes will experiment with paint, clay and drawing with an emphasis on independent projects. Students will be encouraged to work large scale and use a variety of materials.
