The Friends of the Charlestown Navy Yard and the Charlestown Working Theater will present a "Summer Solstice" celebration on Thursday, June 20 from 5:30-7:30 PM in Shipyard Park in the Navy Yard. The park is located near Pier 4.
Entertainment will feature the Theater's Advanced Ensemble performing scenes from their recent production of William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and performances by CWT guitar students. Also, back by popular demand is Michael Bent, a magician known as Abrikidabra, who performed at last year's Summer Solstice.
This event is free and open to the public. Ice cream and water will be provided and you are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy during the performances.
