This basic digital photography workshop is designed for aspiring photographers in need of learning the fundamental rules and techniques of taking better pictures. Upon completion, students will have a good foundation of photography concepts and best practices. Workshop includes lectures, class discussions, practice photo shoots with weekly assignments and a final project. Students will also receive an introduction to the digital imaging software, Photoshop.
Prerequisites: Students will need to provide their own camera.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Dr. Ali Farhoodi is a media professional with significant experience in developing, producing and directing television programs. He has won an Emmy for his interactive television program “Mission Mars,” was a finalist for another Emmy, won first place in the New York Festivals for “Children’s Authors and Illustrators,” and has achieved other professional recognitions. He is currently a fine art photographer and producer.
