1. A reprieve from the cold. It’s not going to be warm today, but it will be warmer. Temperatures will top out in the high 30s with light to moderate winds and clear skies.
2. Council last 40 Warren meeting held tonight. The project has been , and councilor Mark Rosenshein expects a large turnout. The starts at 7 p.m., but you may want to get there early.

3. Me. On TV. Again. This week’s will be a rerun, but one that features me (that is, Matt Casey, editor of Charlestown Patch) and Stephen Quigley, President of the Charlestown Patriot Bridge.
4. Bad timing for the T. On the heels of its announcement about potential fare hikes and service cuts, the MBTA had a horrible day yesterday. Universal Hub reported yesterday that “trains have died on the Red, Blue and Green lines.” A couple commenters attributed the troubles to the cold weather, saying the T always falls

5. Another photo call-out. We can always use more Photo of the Day submissions, but I also wanted to make a suggestion: use your photos to tell us something you care about. While we’ve had some GREAT shots of the town, some of my favorites have been those photos that tell us something we wouldn’t normally get up on the site. In early December, for example, Allen Reitz sent us a photo of a . That told us that the non-profit group’s Christmas Tree sale was going particularly well. That’s not something we would normally have a chance to report on.
