Fourth of July Forecast: Chance For Showers in Charlestown Area

Be prepared to deal with some precipitation this Independence Day.

It looks as if mother nature could dampen Fourth of July festivities in the Charlestown area. Showers are expected to roll in during the afternoon hours on Saturday, according to the latest Weather.com forecast.

Folks with outdoor events planned for Saturday should expect overcast skies and be prepared for a few showers.

Clouds will build up overhead throughout the morning hours. The chance for afternoon rain is said to be at 50 percent. Temperatures are expected to reach the 70s.

Scattered Showers are foretasted to move into the area around 4:30 p.m. Showers could linger through 10 p.m., effecting scheduled fireworks displays.

Sunny skies and warm temperatures will return Sunday.
