Volunteers needed at Visiting Nurses Association
The VNA Hospice Care is seeking volunteers who are able to visit patients on a regular basis during weekdays in our community. If you are interested in visiting with people receiving hospice care in an assisted living facility, nursing home, or at their home, please call or email for an application and an interview. St. Francis House, the largest day homeless shelter for men and women in Boston, is currently in need of used sneakers and belts for men. Used backpacks for men and women would also be greatly appreciated. Please consider dropping off these items at the Joy of Old, 85 Warren Street, weekends only.
