Man Seriously Hurt After Struck by Car in Charlestown

A man was seriously injured after being struck by a car on Main Street in Boston’s Charlestown’s neighborhood Thursday afternoon.

Police and EMS workers responded to the area of Main and Green Streets.

The victim suffered severe head trauma, but is expected to survive, officials say.

The road was blocked off while investigators worked to clear the scene.
