Mayor Walsh to Celebrate the New Year with Boston Seniors
Seniors will celebrate with the mayor at Seaport World Trade Center on Tuesday.
Mayor Walsh will join 2,300 Boston seniors as they ring in the New Year on Tuesday, Dec. 30 at 11:30 a.m. at the Seaport World Trade Center.
Seniors from every neighborhood of Boston will be in attendance. The event includes transportation to and from each neighborhood, a meal and entertainment. At noon, Mayor Walsh will count down the clock and wish the guests a Happy New Year.
“Bringing together our older residents to celebrate the New Year is an important and meaningful tradition that I look forward to taking part in this year,” said Mayor Walsh.

The Seaport World Trade Center is located on 200 Seaport Blvd in Boston.
