Mobile Food Pantry to Serve 600 Vets at BHCC
Greater Boston Food Bank to deliver more than 35 pounds of food to each veteran.

To help meet the growing needs of Massachusetts veterans, The Greater Boston Food Bank—in collaboration with the Department of Veterans' Services and Bunker Hill Community College—will host a Mobile Food Pantry Saturday at the BHCC campus.
A variety of high quality foods will be available at no cost to veterans and their dependents who are State Benefits Recipients. As many as 600 veterans and their families are expected to attend.

By bringing truckloads of nutritious foods to eastern Massachusetts communities through its Mobile Food Pantry program, GBFB supplements the resources available through local social service agencies and helps recipients stretch their food budgets.
GBFB’s Mobile Food Pantries provide more than 35 pounds of healthy food to each participant, including fresh produce, dairy and sources of lean protein.
