The Charlestown wind turbine should spin again next month after yet again being shut down for repairs. Since returning to intermittent operation under observation , the turbine went dormant again, and has remained so for several weeks. Massachusetts Water Resources Authority Executive Director Fred Laskey told <a href="http://www.myfoxboston.com/story/18985069/2012/07/09/mwra-turbine-stopped-by-sinking-foundation" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Fox 25 News</a> recently that the turbine has been shut down to rebuild its foundation, which () sunk faster than expected. Laskey called the foundation repair a "bump in the road." He told the news program that he expects the work to cost about $500,000, but that cost will fall on the contractor, not the MWRA or the state.
