New Boston Trauma, EMS Shows to Premiere on ABC in July

Watch a preview of the two series that will give viewers an unparalleled view inside the city's prestigious hospitals.

Two new Boston medical shows are set to premiere in July, according to ABC News. The shows will give viewers an up-close look at the daily happenings within the city’s trauma and EMS units.

One of the shows, “Save My Life: Boston Trauma,” will bring viewers from the city’s streets into the emergency rooms of some of the nation’s top hospitals.

The show will chronicle real-life services provided by the skillful trauma teams at Boston Medical Center, Massachusetts General, and Brigham and Women’s.

ABC says the show “tells many stories of heroism, poignancy, and unexpected humor.” It is set to premiere on Saturday, July 19, at 10:00 p.m. on ABC Television Network.

The second series, “Boston EMS,” will take viewers on a ridealong with the city’s team of first responders.

ABC says viewers will be introduced to the brave men and women who were first on the scene when the Boston Marathon was bombed in 2013.

Boston EMS will premiere on Saturday, July 25, at 9:00 p.m. on ABC Television Netowork.
