NH is 'Best Place to Live' if You Work in Boston, Study Says

According to a recent study conducted by consumer loan website HSH.com, New Hampshire is the most ideal place to live for those who work in Boston, but don’t want to live in the city.

The study labeled New Hampshire as the “best place to live” outside of Boston.

The state checked in as the best because of the absence of an income tax on wages, its cheaper homes and lower crime rate. Those factors add up to a better quality of life, according to HSH.com.

The study did find that Massachusetts students scored better on standardized tests as opposed to New Hampshire.
