Crews Address Dewey Square Restoration: With the tents gone, the city has been left with close to an acre of dirt in Dewey Square. Crews from the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy started by pumping air back into the compacted soil and adding organic compost. On Monday, crews are expected to lay down sod.

Protestors Hold Mass in Dewey Square Despite Eviction: A small group of protestors gathered on Sunday morning to hold mass the way they had previous weeks.
Saturday, Dec. 10
Police raided the Occupy Boston camp in Dewey Square, across from South Station, Saturday morning at about 5 a.m., according to Boston.com. Some 46 people were arrested, Boston police said in an email to media groups.

Thursday night, as members of the Occupy Boston movement braced for a potential confrontation with police in Boston's Dewey Square – a confrontation that didn't occur, it turns out – protesters had an unusual reason to celebrate. Two members of the crowd, Aaron Spagnolo, 33, and Nanore Barsoumian, 28, decided to hold an impromptu vow exchange with one of the chaplains of Occupy Boston.
