Old Ironsides Docked for Massive Repair Project
The world's oldest commissioned warship afloat will partly reopen in June.

The 1797 three-masted frigate USS Constitution, known locally as Old Ironsides, closed on Monday.
According to WHDH, the warship is set to enter dry dock near the Charlestown Navy Yard for repairs on May 19 before reopening a few weeks later on June 9.

A multi-year restoration project, which is expected to take until 2017, will include re-coppering the hull and general repairs to the stern, bow and captain’s cabin.
The U.S. Navy is funding the $15 million pursuit.
