Bunker Hill CC Police Activity, Orange Line Service Resumes
A bomb squad was seen investigating a vehicle in a lot near the college.
CHARLESTOWN, MA — Police spent about two hours investigating two lots at Bunker Hill Community College Tuesday evening. The bomb squad was on scene as authorities checked out Lots 2 and 4 on the perimeter road.
The incident wreaked havoc on the evening's MBTA commute. Shuttle buses had replaced Orange Line train service from North Station to Sullivan Square. Service has since resumed, but delays continued, the MBTA shorty after 6:20 p.m.
