Paolo’s Trattoria Reveals its Remodel
Charlestown mainstay Paolo's Trattoria recently remodeled their Main Street restaurant.
Paolo’s Trattoria on Main Street shut their doors the week of July 4th remodel. The restaurant has been a staple in the bustling neighborhood for many years and the owners wanted to update its image while maintaining its classic fare. Upon entering the restaurant you will immediately feel the warm ambiance created from the light gray hues, espresso hardwood floors, soft lighting and massive antique mirrors. Its brightened interior and revamped décor is sleek and modern evoking more of a wine-bar atmosphere. More casual diners may now enjoy one of the three new high-boy tables or a seat at the expanded stainless steel bar.
The interior of Paolo’s is not all that’s changed; its menu has also been expanded. The restaurant is introducing more bistro fare such as the burger topped with roasted red peppers, prosciutto and smoked mozzarella, and Old Bay wings which are slow-baked in the high-heat pizza oven and finished on the grill. They will also showcase an assortment of fresh New England seafood including its popular Scallops Risotto. To not upset their long-standing patrons, they have kept their old favorites such as Tagliatelle Bolognese, a variety of wood-fire pizza and yes, they still have Chicken Parm! Paolo’s will continue to offer an affordable wine list with diverse labels of reds, whites and rosé. The finalized menu will debut in September. This newly renovated dining spot is perfect for a celebratory dinner or a casual night out with friends.
