Holiday discount cards can be picked up at participating local businesses.
State Rep. Ed Coppinger (D-West Roxbury) announced in a recent press release that he has teamed up with West Roxbury Main Streets and local businesses to print up holiday discount cards for the month of December. These cards can be picked up at participating businesses and include great deals and discounts.
Participating businesses include: West Napoli Pizza, Mangia/Yogoteria, West on Centre, Edible Arrangements, Halls of Tara Florist, Mr. Sweeper, Boston Hearing Services, Adi’s Bike World, Kalembar Dune, Top It Off Accessories, Crystal Cleaners, General Shoe & Luggage Repair, Black Oak Staffing Solutions, Hercules Press, Picture This Framing, West Roxbury Framing, West Roxbury YMCA, Curves, Caribbean Tanning, Edelweiss Village Assisted Living, Matt-White Realtors and LAER Realty Partners.
When asked about this partnership Representative Coppinger stated, “I am a huge proponent of shopping locally. A thriving local business district helps every aspect of a neighborhood. I came up with this idea to try to help our local shops. Mike Iceland from West Roxbury Main Streets immediately jumped on board getting business support and designing the card. I wanted to pay for the printing of the cards and I hope this is a way to boost sales locally.”

“We’re so happy to see people from the neighborhood supporting locally owned independent businesses like West on Centre and keeping West Roxbury’s main streets bustling,” said Bonnie Owen, Marketing Manager at West on Centre. “We hope our neighbors stop in to warm up at West on Centre with a free eggnog or gingerbread latte by the fireplace while they’re out shopping and dining!”
