Shooting Death of Charlestown Teen Profiled on 'Save My Life: Boston Trauma'

The fatal shooting death of a Charlestown teenager was revisited in the debut episode of ABC’s new television series “Save My Life: Boston Trauma.”

Ryan Morissey, 17, of Charlestown, was the victim of a fatal double shooting in November of 2014. The shooting death marked the first in the neighborhood since 2013.

In the episode, meetings between Morissey’s parents, surgeons and doctors are chronicled.

The show takes a look at the real-life services provided by the skillful trauma teams at Boston Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Brigham and Women’s.
