A Song for Waltham Caregivers

Sharing a personal resource and a moment of connection for those on the caregiving journey.

I am a Waltham resident and the co-author of the book Caregiving with Love, Laughter, and a Plan, which is available on Amazon.

During the current late stage of caring for my wife, Alexa, as she lived with Alzheimer’s, I wrote a song called "Doorway To My Grief." I’ve heard from many fellow caregivers who told me it captures the specific, difficult emotions they often struggle to put into words.

I am sharing this here today because I know there are many people right here in our Waltham community walking this same road. If you are a caregiver, or if you know someone who is, I hope this song offers a moment of connection and comfort.
