The best part about hittin' the sales, are the strange or odd discoveries that an old drawer, or in this case, an old workbench reveals.
I was invited to preview an estate/moving sale as it was being set up for the weekend, which I wrote about in an earlier Patch article here. I was given free reign to explore the home and settled in my second favorite digging place - the basement.
Instead of digging I found myself organizing items as well; this actually made digging easier than just picking or turning items over and to the side.
Though the workbench wasn't really that old, it was piled high, and when I finally got to the bottom, there were my mystery items.
Take a look and see if you can shed any more light on either item. Neither have a makers mark, but the "four fold" one footer has a "No.92" on it. Leave your thoughts in the comments.
