Three Townie Skaters on NHL Draft List

Charlestown hockey has an embarrassment of riches this year, with three Townie skaters on the roster of National Hockey League draft candidates.
We published an article Thursday about local hockey hero , who was ranked as the 143rd most promising player of the 2012 NHL draft.
In response to that article Julie Grzelcyk let us know that two more Townies—Matt Grzelcyk and Jimmy Vesey—also made the draft list.

Vesey, who skated with the South Shore Kings in the 2011-2012 hockey season, landed on the list as the 77th most promising player. He played 45 games this year, scoring 45 goals and making 43 assists.
Grzelcyk, who skated this year with the U.S. Development Team, landed on the list ranked 177th. He played 53 games as a defenseman this year, scoring two goals and notching 20 assists.
