Townies Host Latin Academy for Thanksgiving Game

Before turkey, there will be high school football. Kickoff is set for 10 a.m.

The Charlestown High School Football team will host Latin Academy for the Annual Thanksgiving Day Football Game. Kickoff is set for 10 a.m. on Thursday.

The game marks the final regular season game for the Townies as well as the final career games of seniors David Decard, Jamal Ellison, Mike Hodges, Kelby Pontes, Gregor Seidman and Ben Ticknor.

The Townies are currently ranked fourth in the Boston North League in Division 4, sporting a 2-3 league record and 4-5 overall record. They are 3-4 at home.

For Latin Academy, they find themselves in the middle of the pack in the #3 spot in the Boston South League in Division 4A. They currently have a 3-2 league record, 4-5 overall, but are just 1-4 on the road.
