Overnight Road Work to Begin on I-93 South in Charlestown
The work will take place between Exit 30 and Exit 26.

A section of I-93 South, between Exit 30 in Somerville and Exit 26 just north of the Zakim Bridge in Boston, will undergo pavement milling and resurfacing improvements starting Tuesday evening.
The roadwork will take place on a nightly basis from 9:00 p.m. to 5 a.m. and run from July 7 through late August, MassDOT said Monday.
The work will proceed in phases with short segments in an effort to avoid heavy traffic backups. There will be lane closures on I-93 South while work is taking place, including nights where individual on and off ramps will be closed.
