TUFTS HEALTH PLAN APPOINTMENTS CHARLESTOWN AS NEW DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE

Watertown, MA – Tufts Health Plan today announced the promotion of Charlestown resident Marcia Crumley to Director of Corporate Strategy. Crumley, a member of the Tufts Health Plan team since 2009 is an expert in identifying market and product opportunities and developing successful market entry strategies.

“Marcia is immensely talented,” said Derek Abruzzesse, Vice President of Product and Strategy. “Her knowledge and skills are essential elements to our strategy leadership team.”

In her new role as Director of Corporate Strategy, Crumley will apply her expertise by identifying and assessing potential growth opportunities for Tufts Health Plan. Crumley previously served as Senior Manager of Corporate and Product Strategy and conducted detailed assessments of existing product portfolios, evaluated potential new business lines and partnerships and provided ad hoc decision support to the senior leadership team, across marketing, sales, product, finance and operations.

Prior to joining Tufts Health Plan, Crumley worked for Fuld & Company for close to ten years. There, she gained experience in providing Fortune 500 companies with marketing strategies and tactics to build competitive advantage. 

Crumley Holds a Bachelor Degree from Yale University,   has taken part-time MBA courses at Babson College and has been  a guest lecturer on competitive analysis techniques for an MBA marketing class at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. Crumley currently sits on the board of the Artists’ Group of Charlestown, a local non-profit arts organization and has her visual artwork exhibited at venues including the Prudential Center, International Place and Boston City Hall.
