Victim of Fatal Boston Stabbing ID'd as 15-Year-Old Boy

Police say Irvin Depaz, of Chelsea, was stabbed to death on Trenton Street Sunday evening.

The victim of a fatal stabbing, which took place in East Boston on Sunday evening, has been identified as a 15-year-old boy.

Police say Irvin Depaz, of Chelsea, was stabbed to death in the area of 72 Trenton Street.

Officers found Depaz suffering from a stab wound when they arrived at the scene just after 5 p.m. He was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not identified a suspect. They are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
