The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns.

The program is a collaboration between Boston Housing Authority and Boston Tax Help.

Tax volunteers are needed throughout the network. To protect the privacy of our clients, applicants who reside in BHA Charlestown residences will be offered other locations. You are still needed!
