
CHARLESTOWN, MA – A water main break in Sullivan Square is disrupting the Tuesday morning commute. Boston Water and Sewer Commission first reported the break around 6 a.m. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
State Police said the ramp off 93 North in Charlestown at Exit 28 was reopened shortly before 10 a.m. MassDOT said the northbound ramp was still closed, but the southbound ramp was reopened. Either way, there is not access to Sullivan Square.
MBTA bus routes 104, 105 and 109 are being detoured due to the break.
