Weekend Forecast: Sun, Intense Heat Make for Ideal Beach Conditions

This weekend’s forecast calls for sun and intense heat across the Boston area. There will be a slight chance of rain Saturday, according to the latest weather.com forecast.

On Saturday, temperatures in the city will near 90 degrees, reaching a high of 88. Temperatures will cool significantly during evening and overnight hours, dropping into the mid 60s.

Expect mostly sunny skies with a slight breeze out of the southwest. A spot shower may pop up during the afternoon hours. Forecasters say the chance for precipitation is at 20 percent.

Temperatures will again attempt to crack 90 degrees on Sunday with a high of 87. Temperatures will drop down into the high 60s during the evening hours, but humidity will return for the start of the week.

Expect mostly sunny skies throughout the day with a zero percent chance of rain. There will be a slight breeze out of the west.
