Since 2006, Charlestown resident and psychic MaryLee Trettenero has been listening to the spirits of Charlestown, focusing on historical sites throughout the area. Her We’re Still Here presentation at the Charlestown Branch Library, timed perfectly in anticipation of Halloween, will reveal who is actually haunting City Square Park, John Harvard Mall, and the Warren Tavern. All three locations exhibit different types of genuine hauntings, all matching certain criteria that paranormal experts use to determine if a place is haunted.
Trettenero’s search for the real truth about hauntings has taken her to Paranormal Week at Arthur Findlay College in England and a private tour of the ghosts that haunt Hampton Court Palace. She has also studied ghosts with one of the most respected science oriented psychic institutes in the world.
