Appleby & Wyman Announces Leadership Changes
Independent insurance agency shares changes to management team, effective January 1
Appleby & Wyman, a Massachusetts-based independent insurance agency providing comprehensive advice in all areas of insurance and benefit needs, today announced changes to its leadership. Effective January 1, 2015, Carmen Marciano, who has served as president and CEO since 1986, will assume the role of chairman. Lisa Marciano will become president and CEO. Additionally, Christine Sciola will serve as executive vice president and CFO; and Mary Ann Dignan has been promoted to the position of senior vice president of operations.
In Carmen Marciano’s tenure as president and CEO, he has led the agency through a number of changes since he took the helm nearly three decades ago. His insight and leadership is evident in the quality service delivery and highly skilled team of insurance professionals developed under his guidance. While Carmen will not be involved in daily agency activities, he will continue to serve as advisor and mentor in his role as Chairman.
